New: Colonies on the Somes River in 2004
The
Sand martin project of the Milvus group started in 1999.
The main goals are:
-
to initiate and maintain a national observation and monitoring network
- to investigate (and re-investigate) the distribution of sand martin
colonies on the main Transylvanian rivers (Mures, Somes, Cris, Tirnava)
- to popularise the species through printed materials, web-page and a
short video-film
